Venice: A Stage Set by the Sea

Venice has always carried its own electricity — a historic beachfront enclave where sun, surf, canals, and culture collide in a way only Los Angeles can pull off. Its boardwalk has long been a parade of creators, characters, and curiosities; its streets, a tapestry of art and edge.

And in 2028, Venice becomes a global stage.

The Olympic and Paralympic Triathlon will unfold along this shoreline, where the ocean, beach, and city meet in one seamless sweep. The transition zone and finish line will rise at the edge of Venice Boulevard and the sand… a quintessential LA backdrop for one of the Games’ most iconic triple-threat events

  • Former Snapchat Offices Sell To Petit Ermitage Owners.

Two three-story, mixed-use oceanfront buildings on the Venice Boardwalk have changed hands for $30.7 million, according to property records. Located at 619 and 701 Ocean Front Walk, the structures once housed Snapchat during its early Silicon Beach era — a reminder of the neighborhood’s long-standing pull on creators and innovators.

Together, the buildings span roughly 45,000 square feet, comprising 10 beachfront live-work lofts - complete with outdoor terraces, balconies, and private rooftop decks, as well as ground-floor retail that opens directly onto the boardwalk.
